Welcome to the instructor's website for 85845 MUL 3012-701, Music in Your Life. This webpage is provided to give you a preliminary view of the course requirements.

There are no meetings on campus. This course is delivered entirely through Blackboard and email. Make sure that you have the correct email address listed in Blackboard. Otherwise, email bulletins will not reach you.

Please note that this course is definitely NOT for first-year students in college, due to the intensity of the assignments. If, however, you are a first-year student and you feel confident after reading the syllabus, consider this an opportunity to grow your understanding of music.

The document (link) below is not the syllabus for Fall 2008. However, the specified textbook and supplementary materials are the same for all semesters. They should be purchased well in advance of the first day of classes.

The new syllabus will be posted by mid-summer and will contain much of the same information, but the schedule will obviously differ from the Spring 2008 schedule.
