Theory Placement Test

Freshmen & Undergraduate Transfers

Fall 2017

Tuesday (Second Day of Classes) in MUS 119/140

Unregistered and registered students should go to their regularly scheduled class on Tuesday morning to take the test in MUS 119/140.

  • Students with AP Theory scores must still take this test to assure that they are properly placed at the appropriate theory level.
  • Transfer students with theory credits from a Florida public community college and/or university do not need to take this test.
  • Transfer students with college theory credits from out-of-state schools should request the Theory Placement "Transfer" Test.
Piano Proficiency Tests are available to students with piano experience.  Must be taken during first week of classes.

MUSIC EDUCATION INTERNSHIP

THE INTERNSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETED TWO FULL TERMS BEFORE THE INTERNSHIP.  (SUMMER IS A TERM.)
